This is the first of a series of albumen prints, produced on 100% cotton rag paper, hand coated and printed out from a digital negative, using a process that was popular in the mid to late 1800’s, there are more to come, i’ll put up a page of images in the near future.
I hope you like it.
I had the opportunity to take some photo’s of an installation by talented artist and friend Criss Sullivan.
Artistic concept by Criss, photo’s by me.
Cannot wait to see the end result of this process, a huge thanks to Criss for letting be involved.
I’ve just loaded a page of Van Dyke Brown prints, have a look at the page and check them out.

When you spend your time waiting for the sun (U/V light), it seems as though it only appears when your at work, and every day off is shrouded with clouds; overcast and grey.
